![]() Why would I package 1,000 items appropriately, but not this one? Doesn’t make sense. When you have sellers making you thousands of dollars be fair and use good judgment. Now it takes at least 2 days for an issue to be resolved, and this incident was clearly not judged correctly. When I first started selling 2 years ago the customer service at Mercari was excellent, fair and fast. This is about the 10th time I’ve felt with a scammer, and I’ve had enough. I even went so far as to pack this with two oversized plush bath towels to ensure no damage to the item. This particular item was extremely difficult to find, and now I’m getting back junk because I had an incompetent buyer who just wanted their money back and clearly didn’t show all the packaging. I’ve sold over 25,000 dollars on this site and I have decided that once all of my items that are in the progress of being sold are finalized, I will no longer be using Mercari. I believe the person threw most of the packaging away before taking photos. The Mercari team refused refunding me because they say it had insufficient packaging. ![]() Editorial Note: Opinions, analyses, reviews or recommendations expressed in. Very upset that out of over a thousand sales I just had a person who requested a return for an item that got broken during shipment. Mercari has an app thats available in both the App Store (for iOS) and on.
